Remembrance
On Sunday we had the honour of performing hymns for the annual service of Remembrance at the Stretford Cenotaph. Thankfully, the forecast rain held off. The band performed this weekend at the NW Brass Bands Association contest in Rochdale. We performed Peter Graham's composition "The Essence of Time" in a joint Championship/First Section. Red Admiral Success
The band performed yesterday in the First Section at the Red Admiral Entertainments contest, Chorley. We played a 20-minute set of arrangements of music for stage and screen by Alan Menken.
