The band performed Christmas concerts this weekend at Timperley and last weekend in Urmston. We’d like to thank the players who helped us out on each occasion as it can prove difficult getting a full band together at this time of year. Our soloists at both events performed to their usual high standards and we’d like to thank the audiences who joined in with the carols so enthusiastically.
Special mention for Dylan from our Community Band who sang “The Snowman” with us at St Clement’s prior to his performance next weekend with the Hallé.
We have now completed our Christmas concert engagements. Weather permitting we will be out and about playing carols in Flixton but otherwise we’re all on ‘home practice’ until 2026.
We wish all our supporters the very best of Season’s Greetings and hope to see you at our events next year.
