The band enjoyed a great day out in Blackpool. The 'Areas' made a very welcome return after the pandemic break and it was a great chance to meet the banding community and catch up. Blackburn and Darwen
The band was delighted - more than delighted after so long - to take part in the Blackburn and Darwen March and Hymn Tune contest yesterday. The band competed at the North West Regional Championships in Blackpool on Sunday. We were the last of 16 bands to deliver an interpretation of Tom Davoren's composition to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS: Legacy.
