It is now over a year since the band last rehearsed together, let alone performed in public. We are maintaining contact with on-line rehearsals and, of course, keeping our lips in with ample personal practice.
We have confirmation that the Backburn & Darwen Band intend to hold their open-air March and Hymn contest this September. Having cancelled engagements for so long it is great to add a new engagement to our list. Please save the date in your diaries and come along on 12th September to support all the bands that have survived lockdown.
