Flixton is a friendly and welcoming band. If you are looking to join a band or just fancy coming to a rehearsal we will do our best to make you very welcome.
If there is not a current vacancy on your instrument please do not be discouraged. We will not ‘sack’ players to make space for newcomers, but several players are flexible and prepared to switch parts to accommodate new members.
To apply, please contact the Band on flixband@aol.com or just come along to a rehearsal at the bandroom. Please check before attending a rehearsal as we do take a summer break and sometimes rehearse at other venues in the run-up to contests.

Rehearsals
The Flixton Band rehearses 8pm Mondays and Thursdays at the Coach House, Flixton Road, M41 5GJ
The Flixton Community Band rehearses 10am Saturdays at the Flixton Junior School. See their website for more details.
