4th Percussion- Jenny Patel

Jenny is very proud to play for Flixton Band for contests and special events as the youngest member of the band.  She feels she has learnt a lot from playing at competitions with Flixton and has thoroughly enjoyed the support of other more experienced players.

Jenny won a music scholarship for Kirkham Grammar School at the age of 11 and is a keen percussion player.  Her house is full of drum kits, xylophones, marimbas and keyboards.  She is a member of two of the Lancashire County-wide youth bands - the Lancashire Students' Concert Band (LSCB) and the Lancashire Youth Percussion Ensemble.  She is currently thrilled to be playing in Krakow, Poland with the LSCB on their summer tour.

She also sings, plays piano and loves to shop and an additional attraction to playing with Flixton Band is its nearness to the Trafford Centre.  A visit to Monsoon and Morgan is a must before or after all rehearsals.
