Solo Horn - Lynne Campbell

Lynne started playing the cornet when she was 8 and moved on to the horn six months later.  She joined Campbeltown Brass in 2000 on second horn and was moved onto solo in 2005.  She helped to form the Campbeltown Brass Quintet who later were Scottish Champions for three consecutive years.

In 2006, she won best youth soloist at "Brass in the Park" when she played "Over the Rainbow."  Lynne is a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland and was fortunate enough to tour Japan with them in 2008.

Lynne is currently studying Music at Salford University.
