Steve has been in banding since 1970 (when instruments were gas powered) - played horn, soprano and Bb cornet in School Band and in others from championship to 4th Section. Had a go at conducting a 4th section band for 7 years then returned to playing, realising that playing is much more difficult (but enjoyable).
