In 2005 the band set out to reform community links and to perform concerts at local venues. The concerts were a massive success with the band entertaining the people of Trafford with a Summer Family Concert, Rememberance and Christmas Concert.

Our next local concert will be on 12th July 6.30pm at the Urmston Leisure Centre. This will be themed event featuring music from the movies

What can I expect of a Flixton Band Concert?

The band performs to a high standard and we aim to provide an entertaining and exciting evening at all our engagements. The concerts may have a theme. Our family concerts cater for youngsters and the more mature alike with music from stage, screen, solos, old favourites and entertaining choreography.

Can children come along?

Of course, we start all our family concerts at 6pm. We hope this allows all of the family to be with us.

What facilities will be at the concert hall?

We choose local venues that will have suitable seating, acoustics and lighting for an indoor concert. There will be toilet facilities and a licensed bar. The band will also have a information stall where you can find out more about the band and purchase merchandise.
