Flixton Band maintains a proud tradition of music making, which dates back over 125 years. The Band is today still the premier brass band in the Trafford area and is currently graded second section standard by the North West Counties Brass Bands Association and 3rd Section by the National Brass Band Association of Great Britain. Flixton Band is completely self funded and does not benefit from any sponsorship.
