Contest Reports- Fleetwood 2004
3rd October 2004, Marine Hall, Fleetwood

3rd October saw the date for the 2004 Fleetwood Contest. This year the band was competing against a strong line-up of 10 bands. Playing Kenneth Downie's 'Purcell Variations' the band took the 3rd prize coming home with another trophy. Boarshurst and Valley Brass took the other 2 prizes and we congratulate both bands on their performances. The contest reinforces the improvements made in the band over the last few months and we look forward to the competition in Pontins in a few weeks.
