Flixton take honours at Buxton !
Performing Goff Richards "Oceans" the band were awarded 1st prize at the own choice Contest in Buxton. The adjudicator Malcolm Brownbill praised the band for a tuneful and musical performance. The contest was an important day for the band marking 12 months under Kevin Gibbs direction. During this time the band has built up an impressive record - 7 contests and 6 prizes! The band has always been there or about but Buxton marked the band's first FIRST PRIZE and was the cause for much celebration.
The band now looks forward to an exciting year where it can build upon this partnership and develop to a new level.
